The John P. Hussman Institute for Human Genomics at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine is currently seeking a temporary Research Associate. The temporary Research Associate will work on the study of genetic origins and admixture in Latinos. The qualified candidate will conduct data analysis and simulations to study the potential impact of population structure in our dataset on disease studies, and work with the project investigators to innovate new methods for populations with complex substructure.

The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: Bachelorís degree is required. Experience in epidemiology, genetics, and/or statistics is highly preferred. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
