The John P. Hussman Institute for Human Genomics at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine is currently seeking an Asst. Scientist. The Asst. Scientist will work on the molecular genetic aspects of deafness associated with inner ear anomalies (IEA). This position will work on designing and implementing research directed towards identifying genes which contribute to IEA and the mechanisms by which alterations in these genes may result in disease.
The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: PhD or MD and one (1) year of post-doctoral experience required. The ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team is expected. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
