The Bascom Palmer Eye Institute is seeking a Sr Patient Access Representative to work in the Plantation clinic. Responsibilities of the Sr. Patient Access Representative include the registration of patients to the clinic based upon various types of services. Prioritize registration as appropriate. Obtain pertinent information from the patient. Inform the patient or their representative of financial requirements and collecting when necessary according to established guidelines and financial policy.

The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows:  High School Diploma or equivalent plus three years of relevant work experience in a medical office or hospital setting is required. Demonstrate sustained high level of proficiency in all aspects of the position. Excellent customer service skills are required. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of medical technology required. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously required.  Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
