The Dept of Medicine /Division of Clinical Pharmacology is looking for a ARNP Study Coordinator for clinical research studies performed at the University of Miami Division of Clinical Pharmacology.
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Trials Manager and the Director, the coordinator is responsible for the daily conduct of studies, and adherence to ICH GCP and FDA guidelines.
The ARNP Coordinator conducts study procedures including medical history, physical examination, insertion of I.V. catheters, performance of I.V. infusions, intramuscular injections, administration of study medication, venipuncture, drug accountability, study visit procedures, and oversees the acquisition, handling, processing, storage, and shipping of laboratory specimens and supplies obtained for studies performed in the University of Miami Division of Clinical Pharmacology.
In addition, the ARNP Coordinator will share responsibility for night and weekend coverage of the Clinical Pharmacology Research Unit under the direction of Clinical Trials Manager and the Director.
Because clinical research studies conducted in the CPRU involve confinement of study participants, night and weekend coverage will be a key component of this position.

Minimum requirements include: Masterís degree in Nursing from an accredited program and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license from the state of Florida. One year of experience required. Previous experience as an ARNP or a comparable position in a medical/research setting preferred. BLS certification required. Any appropriate combination of education and experience may be considered.
