This is a night shift position.

The UMHC/Sylvester Inpatient Unit currently has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse.
The Chemotherapy nurse will be a professional registered nurse who administers standard chemotherapy and biotherapy agents, research study and non-chemotherapy medications. He/she will administer care to oncology patients as well as with multiple disease process and research study patients.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing required. • Current/valid Florida registered nursing license. • BLS certification required, ACLS preferred • One year of relevant nursing experience required, recent oncology experience preferred. • Recent experience in administering chemotherapy and biotherapy agents preferred. • Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Administration Guidelines provider course preferred. • Oncology certification preferred • Strong interpersonal communication skills • Proven track record of building relationships with physicians, direct reports and key staff • Moderate to advanced computer literacy and skills • Sedation Competencies. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
