The UMHC/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab, has an opportunity for a Per Diem Cardiovascular Technologist. The incumbent conducts tests on pulmonary or cardiovascular systems of patients for diagnostic purposes. May conduct or assist in electrocardiograms, cardiac pulmonary-function tests to determine lung capacity, and similar tests.
The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: Associate (2-yr) degree is required. One year experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist required, 18 months is preferred. Must have current/valid FL Cardio Technologist license. BLS/ACLS certifications required. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
