The UMHC/Sylvester Registration/Admitting unit seeks a Receptionist. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, an accurate tracking of patient daily visits to ensure the smooth an efficient operation of the clinics. The receptionist will direct the clinic flow and will act as a liaison between the patient, registration staff, and the medical personnel.

The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows:   High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of customer service experience required. Ability to interact with the public in a professional, compose and courteous manner is required. Computer literate and skilled in Office Windows applications (Word, Excel, etc) is preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills and must be personable, courteous, presentable, with good customer service skills. Bilingual preferred with 0ne year customer services experience in a medical facility. The individual in this position is responsible for serving the needs of the patients and physicians. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
