The  Clinical Research Center is seeking a Manager, Research (RN) who will be responsible for the daily outpatient clinical administrative functions, the management of clinical staff, research participant care operations and for effective interactions with investigators and their staff to assure that research projects are carried out as approved by the IRB.
This position will also actively participate in the direct nursing care including, but not limited to phlebotomy, IV insertion and intravenous infusions of study medications for the adult/pediatric research participants involved in the different protocols conducted at the Clinical Research Center.
The Nurse Manager will coordinate the research participant protocol requirements and assist study teams in the drafting of physician treatment orders for each research visit. The Nurse Manager in collaboration with the Sr. Manager Business Operations will collect and maintain data as required for reports, purchasing and CRC utilization.
This position will also develop and revise clinical research SOPs, conduct clinical staff meetings, and ensure that all staff members comply and adhere with institutional, local, state, and federal health regulations/requirements by providing training to staff.


Minimum requirements include:  Bachelor degree in Nursing, Valid State of Florida Registered Nursing Licensure required. BLS certification required. A minimum of 3 years experience as a Clinical Research Center Nurse required, previous nursing management experience preferred. Must possess strong interpersonal, organization, problem solving and leadership skills, detailed and results oriented and self-motivated, able to assume all staffing and scheduling responsibilities, experience in research at a medical school, clinic, or hospital required. Prior experience supervising/leading a team and setting team priorities and goals. Must be able to work independently and collaborate with a team, must have experience conducting quality control audits and data analysis/entry. Excellent skills in English (both verbal and written) and Computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required. Any appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered.
