The Center for Liver Disease is seeking a Research Support Coordinator who will be responsible for Recruit, schedule and conduct informed consent process for study patients according to specific protocol requirements. Coordinate, process and ship of specimens. Maintain study logs and regulatory binders. Prepare for study monitor visits and FDA audits. Attend Center research meetings to report on existing studies and discuss new studies submitted for IRB approval. Maintain financial information for all sponsored accounts, analyzing financial statements and monitoring revenue and expenses on a monthly basis using UM systems (DMAS, FRS, DHRS, Report 90”s, etc.). Interact with Research Compliance Office on account balances and closing dates.


Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field and one year work-related experience is required. The minimum qualifications for this position: One (1) year relevant experience is required in recruiting, scheduling and conducting informed consent process with study participants according to specific protocol requirements. Excellent communication in English (both verbal and written) is preferred. Computer skills required. Any appropriate combination of education, certifications, and/or relevant work experience will be considered.
