Compensation and Term: 
The Graphic Design Assistant is a paid position with a start date of June 1, 2017 and will end on May 31, 2018. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
•        Creating concepts, design and production of print, scoreboard, video and website graphic materials for the Athletics Department
•        Working in coordination with the digital, communication and marketing departments to develop annual theme for the Athletics Department
•        Designing website ads, print ads, flyers, invitations and other print materials
•        Developing digital ads, banners, site intros and presentations
•        Designing and developing graphics for social channels
•        Editing and designing publicity materials
•        Displaying a professional level of communication with all internal and external stakeholders
•        Maintaining workload using SmartSheet project management tool
•        Upholding Athletics Department brand standards
•        Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in graphic design 
•Must be a team player with the ability to work on tight deadlines
•Must be willing to work weekend and evening events
•Strong passion for collegiate athletics
•Proficiency in Adobe Suite software with an emphasis in Photoshop and InDesign
•Knowledge of social media platforms and their graphic standards which include Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram and Instagram Stories
