The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami seeks applicants for a tenure-track appointment at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor starting in the 2016-2017 academic year. Minimal qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemistry and significant postdoctoral experience. To be considered at the Associate professor level, the candidate must have independent teaching and research experience. Preference will be given to candidates with strong research interests in the area of materials/energy. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels and to develop and/or maintain a nationally and internationally recognized research program.
