The Embryologist position is a highly professional technical position and is responsible for coordinating and participating in a variety of complex technical duties involved in conducting In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) laboratory procedures. Responsibilities include performing assisted reproductive technology techniques, coordinating responsibilities within the laboratory, resolution of laboratory issues, ordering supplies and assisting in the preparation of the laboratory in maintaining its accreditation.



The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: Bachelor of Science degree in biological science. Clinical embryology experience including IVF, ICSI, PGD and cryopreservation preferred. Experience in semen analysis with Kruger’s strict criteria, semen cryopreservation, sperm preparation for IUI and testicular sperm extraction.  Knowledge of QC/QA.  Any appropriate combination of relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
