The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Department of Medical Human Resources has an opportunity available for a Senior Human Resource Specialist. This position will support the Performance Optimization team of Medical Human Resources with various initiatives and projects. Duties include providing office services by implementing administrative systems, procedures and policies; monitoring administrative projects; maintaining performance management systems. Manage implementation of electronic performance evaluation process twice yearly, to include data validation, drafting communications, partnering with Workforce Engagement and Development in creating online training modules, managing go-live, ensuring compliance with deadlines and closing the evaluation processes. Assists with compiling and supporting strategic initiatives by drafting presentations, compiling information and developing PowerPoint, Excel and Word documents for review.

Associate's degree (3) three years relevant work experience - Experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Strong administrative experience required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills including intermediate skill level with Excel and Word. Seeking an individual with the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and work independently. Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations. Able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with others. Superior customer service and follow-through skills. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
