Location: Coral Gables Campus

The School of Nursing and Health Studies (SONHS) is looking for a Manager, Donor Relations for our advancement team. The position will work with the Executive Director for Advancement to create, manage and implement the School of Nursing and Health Studies strategic plan for philanthropy. This position is responsible for preparing proposals to private funding sources for the purpose of gaining support for the School, as well as writing acknowledgement letters for the Dean and Executive Director for Advancement, and producing stewardship reports, direct mailing projects, articles, and brochures. Assist in the Implement and manage a comprehensive annual giving strategy involving alumni and prospects with the potential for leadership annual gifts and the School’s stewardship program, designed to foster and nurture long-term, meaningful relationships between the University and its donors. This position also manages/supports/assists with development and campaign events.

Requirements: The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and 3 years relevant work experience; must have excellent command of the English language, both oral and written; high level communication skills, computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft products; design experience and Raiser's Edge knowledge preferred; must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously with overlapping deadlines; must be flexible to work overtime, nights and weekends when necessary.
