The School of Nursing and Health Studies at the University of Miami is accepting applications and nominations for the position of Senior Associate Dean for Academic Programs/Full Professor Tenured. This person is responsible for the development, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of undergraduate and graduate programs, policies and procedures that support and enhance the academic life and career development of students. This person represents the institution in various educational interactions with other schools; local national and international organization; and educational agencies, commissions and councils. Given the level of leadership and scope of responsibilities, the successful candidate will be an experience nurse professional who has proven him/herself as an effective leader and has a track record of both teaching and research. The role requires exceptional administrative management skills coupled with the ability to think strategically. Qualifications: Doctoral Degree and Master's Degree in Nursing or related field. At least 5 years of experience in the administration of educational and academic programs. A leader who can implement the school's strategic plan. Strong leadership and management skills, interpersonal/communication skills, ability to set priorities, direct others, build consensus and handle daily school operations. Position #000114.
